Kimberly Guilfoyle paid a visit to Parliament and met for the first time with the Speaker of the House, Nikitas Kaklamanis. The new U.S. ambassador arrived shortly before 14:30 and was welcomed with a warm handshake and a red rose from Nikitas Kaklamanis.
They then proceeded into the interior of Parliament, where they discussed issues concerning the bilateral relations between Greece and the United States. Meanwhile, journalists and employees had gathered at the entrance, and Guilfoyle greeted them by saying “good evening” in Greek.
