She presented her credentials today to the President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas — becoming the 25th U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle.
The new U.S. ambassador had a brief exchange with the President, expressing her excitement to be in Greece.
“Have you ever been to Greece before?” Mr. Tasoulas asked. She replied affirmatively: “Yes, I have visited — for example, Mykonos and Santorini. Later, when I was 18, I began studying History under Professor Spyridakis.”
However, beyond the political sphere, just a few days earlier the new U.S. ambassador had made an appearance in a glittering dress at a party organized in her honor by Konstantinos Argyros.
