Weather conditions in Greece will feel like summer this week, as meteorologists forecast a rise in temperatures, potentially reaching up to 30°C. As early as yesterday, some parts of the country already saw thermometers surpass the 30°C mark. This temperature spike will be accompanied by a noticeable influx of African dust in the atmosphere.
According to meteorologist Thodoris Kolydas, following this warm spell, a cold air mass is expected to move in, leading to a drop in temperatures below seasonal averages.
“After a rather chilly April across the country – especially in the Aegean islands following Easter – temperatures will now rise slightly above normal levels,” noted the Star TV meteorologist. However, he also warned that starting Friday and into the weekend, a cold snap is expected, with temperatures falling slightly below what is typical for this time of year.
